Heavenly Desserts launches new menu
UK-WIDE dessert franchise Heavenly Desserts has announced the launch of its brand-new menu, introducing a new way...
You might love Living Coral, the Pantone Colour of the Year, but will it suit all of your wedding party? We asked Yorkshire's Karina Leacock of House of Colour...
We associate coral with the sun-kissed seas of honeymoon destinations such as Australia, Indonesia and the Philippines – but the gorgeous hue will not suit everyone. Some of us have warm yellow-based pigment in our skin, while others have a blue-based cool pigment. When you wear the right colours for your skin you'll look brighter, fresher and younger. Coral is a yellow-based pink so will suit those with warm complexions.
Compared to the bold Ultra Violet from 2018, Living Coral is an effortless, mellow shade that doesn't overpower, so it works brilliantly to accentuate other colours. Think of warm neutrals and the trendy 70s-inspired palette of brown, coffee, beige and olive.
Another way to rock this shade is in a lipstick, blusher or on the nails – just try not to go too orange as it doesn't work for everyone. Or if you don't want to wear it, why not add it to your table decorations with coral blooms, chair sashes or napkins?
