Lottie says... Start by thinking about your overall look. If you have a detailed dress, then you may want to try a hairstyle that keeps focus on your outfit. Also, if you're set on wearing a veil, then a style that'll keep it in place is essential.

Even with a relaxed aesthetic, good hair preparation and a strong foundation will ensure it lasts all day. Many of the inspirational images you see have been created for studio shoots and invariably use extensions to create the style. I'd suggest braids and twists in wavy or curly hair. All these techniques work for your theme while still looking polished.

There are loads of options with braids and they work for both up and down dos. Speak to your stylist about trying some different ones, such as a fishtail braid, which works brilliantly on long hair, or a Dutch braid to add dimension and depth. If you have fine or short tresses, you may need some extensions for a fuller effect.

I love using flowers and accessories to finish a look off. Ask your florist about having some stems you can work through your hair. Alternatively, a hair vine will complement a bohemian vibe.
