Bradley’s Jewellers York Adds to Best-Selling York Rose Collection with Diamond Rings and the Exclusive York Rose Tiara

Independent and multi-award-winning jewellery retailer Bradley's Jewellers York has launched new additions to its in-house designed and British-made York Rose collection, including a unique York Rose Tiara that marks the next milestone in its creative endeavours. Highlights include the York Rose Brontë ring, featuring a diamond-set Yorkshire Rose in full bloom in 18ct rose gold, 18ct yellow gold or platinum. The name was purposefully chosen by Bradley's Jewellers York owner, Kay Bradley, to celebrate the incredible achievements of Yorkshire's most famed female writers, Charlotte, Anne and Emily Brontë.  The collection has also been updated with a new gentleman's signet ring that's custom engraved with a Yorkshire Rose and crafted in either yellow, white or rose gold.

The pièce de resistance is the York Rose Tiara, set with more than 1,000 fancy-cut diamonds weighing upwards of 10 carats in recycled 9ct white gold. The concept was designed by Kay Bradley and brought to life through meticulous British craftsmanship. As a result, the York Rose Tiara will feature the esteemed 'Created in the UK' mark, applied by the Birmingham Assay Office.

Kay Bradley explains: "As a business, we pride ourselves on always reaching for the next jewellery milestone. Introducing a Yorkshire-inspired tiara seemed like the most sensational and opulent next step. These special items are often found in private collections as treasured heirlooms, so I wanted to create something similar not only for Bradley's Jewellers York but for the whole of Yorkshire."

The York Rose Tiara will soon form part of The Seasons – a unique series of four tiaras that celebrate Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter in Yorkshire. The first to be launched represents the Summer, while a soon-to-be-revealed York Daffodil Tiara will pay homage to the optimism and renewal of the spring months. A third piece – the Rainbow Hope Tiara – will recognise autumn as a time of harvest, abundance and accomplishment in vibrant coloured gemstones.

"I feel strongly that as an independent jeweller, we should always be surprising our customers with something new, different and inspiring," Bradley continues. "We've updated the York Rose collection with new pieces, but I don't think any of our loyal collectors anticipated a tiara was in the works!"

The York Rose collection was first unveiled in 2022 as a tribute to Kay Bradley's personal and professional home. It draws inspiration from numerous sources, including the emblematic

White Rose of Yorkshire and the Rose Window at York Minster. Existing designs include bangles, stud earrings, pendants, solitaire engagement rings and trilogy rings, which can be set with the customers' choice of natural or laboratory-grown diamonds.

The unveiling of the York Rose Tiara is the independent jeweller's most elevated achievement since the launch of the Fabergé x Bradley's Christmas Robin Egg Objet at North Yorkshire-based stately home, Castle Howard, in November 2025.

Bradley adds: "After such an incredible experience launching the Christmas Robin Egg Objet, we knew that our next venture needed to be similarly ambitious. The creation of this series of tiaras is a pioneering step for our independent business, and they will take pride of place in the Bradley's Jewellers York Private Collection. To my knowledge, this is the only series of Yorkshire-themed and British-made tiaras in existence, so that feels quite special."

Despite not being put up for sale, The Seasons tiaras will occasionally be loaned to VIP customers and local brides upon request. This ensures that the Yorkshire community can benefit from these heirlooms for generations to come.

Looking ahead, Bradley's Jewellers York is shortlisted in the Social Media Campaign or Collaboration of the Year category at the UK Jewellery Awards 2025 in recognition of its festive event at Castle Howard last November. It has also been nominated in the Wedding Rings and Jewellery category at the North of England Wedding Awards, with voting due to close on September 2, 2025.
