Introducing The Yorke Arms wedding venue in Nidderdale

Reinvented in 2020 as a country house for hire, The Yorke Arms in Nidderdale has just announced that it has been granted its ceremony licence. Weddings at the venue promise to be an intimate affair, with the bridal party and guests having sole use of the house along with its 17 bedrooms and suites.

Surrounded by picturesque Dales countryside, the venue is steeped in history having been a coaching inn for more than 100 years. Weddings here are run by a team of professionals who aim to make the exclusive-use venue work perfectly for each couple. There are no restrictions on timings, food or drink – everything is flexible to create the perfect experience. In addition to its own wedding licence, guests can also get married in the pretty Ramsgill village church, before returning on foot to the venue for their reception.

"Receiving the wedding licence is the final piece in the jigsaw in the reinvention of The Yorke Arms," says hospitality sales manager Laura Shinkfield. "We're now taking enquiries and looking forward to welcoming our first weddings!"
