Dreams come true at new Whitby wedding venue Sneaton Castle

Interior of Sneaton Castle wedding venue set up for ceremony

Whitby has seen the launch of a stunning new wedding venue in 2020, Sneaton Castle. After being home to the Sisters of the Holy Paraclete for more than 100 years, the Morley family, who also own The Stables at Cross Butts venue nearby, fell in love with the building when it came up for sale and saw its potential for a truly enchanting wedding location.

The lovingly-restored building is now transformed for exclusive weddings, seamlessly blending period features with everything a modern couple could need, including the fabulous Bridal Dressing Room. We love the Norman-style Chapel – just check out our recent cover shot to see why – and the space is licensed so you can make your vows in front of this spectacular backdrop. Friends and family can then join the newlyweds for a feast and party to remember in the rustic Barn under original oak beams.

The Morley Family have more than 16 years' experience in hosting weddings, so you're in safe hands, and being family-run, you know they'll treat your day like their own.

Once dominated by big nights out and budget flights abroad, hen and stag parties in the UK are having a rethink, and things are now looking very different.
