Looking for a historic wedding venue in Yorkshire? Check out Ilkley Manor House: Image 1

Couples looking to tie the knot in historic, quirky surroundings should check out the new Ilkley Manor House, which is now fully licensed for weddings for up to 60 loved ones.

There are a number of enchanting spaces to choose from in the mid 14th-century wedding venue, including the Western Gallery with its vaulted ceiling and courtyard views or the Solar Gallery with its large windows bathing the space in natural light.

"The Manor House will only hold a small number of events each year," says trustee Daisy Johnson. "This is so it can fulfil its primary role as a creative heritage and arts hub, so it will always be a special occasion if you choose to celebrate here."

The team can help plan your wedding alongside its list of preferred local suppliers. To find out more, visit www.ilkleymanorhouse.org
