The Coniston serves up new food & beverage manager
The Coniston Hotel Country Estate & Spa is delighted to welcome Katherine Renhard as its new Food...
Morley-based Sarah Lawrence Hairdressing tell us how she created this beautiful bridal hair look...
For this style, I wanted to maintain the model's hair length and give a soft look. I used:
- ghd Root Lift Spray
- ghd Curl Hold Spray
- ghd Hairdryer
- ghd Platinum+ Styler
I applied both spray products, which have heat protection built in, before the initial blow dry. I twisted sections of hair working up and down to the root until all the hair was dry.
Next up, I sectioned the hair and placed the styler at the root at a diagonal. With one full turn I then glided it down the piece. Changing direction with alternating sections gave the hair texture and movement for a touchable look.
I went back over the ends for a straighter feel and to add length. We then tipped the head upside down and massaged the roots.
To finish off, I gently took the hair away from the face at the front and secured with bobby pins, allowing strands to fall out naturally. The curls at the back were then teased, creating a great base for a veil and accessories to sit securely in.
