Yorkshire bridal boutique Dotty Bridal in Holmfirth has recently acquired its neighbouring property and transformed the whole space into a fabulous concept bridal boutique.

"When we opened in 2015 we only had one floor, one fitting room and one area for our wedding dresses," owner Shannon Martin says. "It's crazy to think how we managed in such a small space. We later took over the property above us, and now we've really taken things to the next level!"

In our social media world, the Yorkshire bridal boutique saw that brides want fun, Insta-worthy experiences. "We want to change the perception of bridal shopping," says Shannon. "We're showing it doesn't have to be daunting, it can be fun and exciting."

Its new luxury suite has space for 10 guests and contains a private gin bar, sweet shop and super-cool pink neon selfie wall. Brides can book the suite and be treated to prosecco, sweet treats and signature Dotty cocktails! To celebrate saying "I do" in a Dotty gown, brides can take part in a balloon pop to win amazing prizes and they'll also receive a gift bag full of luxury goodies and a Dotty Bridal mug.

The research* revealed that two-thirds (66%) of engaged or married couples don't have their rings covered under their home insurance and more than a quarter (27%) don't have any insurance at all. The data highlights a growing protection gap, particularly among younger generations with over a third (38%) of 18-24 year olds having no cover, compared to 24% of 25-34 year olds.
