Check out 'Planning a Wedding the Wedding Planner Way', the new book by Yorkshire wedding planner and author Hazel Walshaw: Image 1 We caught up with Hazel Walshaw, Yorkshire wedding planner and author of Planning a Wedding the Wedding Planner Way to find out what we can expect from her new book and how it can help wedding couples...

"My book is called Planning a Wedding the Wedding Planner Way, and is a must for brides and grooms who want to make sure their wedding day goes with only the one hitch! It puts my decade of wedding planner experience into one handbag-sized book packed full of useful information.

"It covers the whole planning process from the initial stages right through to preparing the seating plan, the speeches and a rundown of what to expect on the wedding day itself. You'll find helpful advice from industry professionals on photography, videography, bar hire, make-up and flowers. It also include real-life situations and how to avoid mistakes and forgotten elements. Basically it is everything you need to know when planning a wedding and is like having a wedding planner without the price tag.

"I decided to write this book as I had all this knowledge in my head and I wanted to offer my expertise to as many brides, grooms and future wedding planners as I could. I was a wedding planner and on-the-day coordinator for more than ten years in Yorkshire and have extensive experience of all styles of wedding but mainly on the more unusual weddings with plenty of marquees and tipis in fields.

"This book is perfect for couples who are doing the whole thing themselves. I've included timelines, checklists and all sorts of useful information that they might not have thought of."
