Winter is a wonderful season in which to tie the knot. For me, it conjures up images of log fires and long walks in the countryside, which you can take inspiration from with a palette of rich, warm colours. With Christmas falling in the middle, a little sparkle doesn't go amiss either!
Try styling your day with a palette of burgundy, hunter green and midnight blue with metallic accents and plenty of glitz. Brides can opt for a gorgeous gown with a long sleeve or a dress that's designed to have a jacket over the top. I love the Dorothea gown by Alan Hannah (pictured). It's a gorgeous strapless Mikado style with a Swarovski belt and matching lace bolero – perfect for keeping out the chill.
To give warmth to the bridal party, why not choose beautiful faux fur accessories to bring out their inner Snow Queen?
