Argent, a contemporary jeweller based in Leeds, will launch a stunning ring exhibition

Argent, a contemporary jeweller based in Leeds, will launch a stunning ring exhibition: Image 1 To mark 30 years in business, Argent, a contemporary jeweller based in Leeds, will launch a stunning ring exhibition at its recently refurbished premises in Thornton's Arcade.

Running from October to the beginning of December, it will showcase eclectic ranges from British jewellers such as Alex Monroe, Mike Gell and Rebecca Lewis as well as local designers including Robert Feather, Adele Taylor, Mark Veevers and others.

The store has stocked Alex Monroe's work for many years and will use the event to exhibit some of the designer's diamond engagement rings as well as launching a new range, which incorporates naturally coloured, ethical sapphires.

Launched by owner Claire Douglas in 1989, Argent is constantly evolving and adapting. Over the years, it has embraced larger brands, but it's now returning to its roots and focusing on independent and local designers along with a personal-shopper style experience.
