There are so many different things to consider when choosing your Yorkshire wedding photographer. No two photographers will have the same approach and all will offer their own unique service and style. Some will adopt a photojournalistic or reportage documentary approach for most of your day, so you can look back and remember just how incredible your day actually was in addition to the more traditional couples, bridesmaids and family group shots.
A good wedding photographer will be unobtrusive and will capture the day in a relaxed and informal way from the 'getting ready' stage right through to the first dance and well into the evening.
You want to remember your wedding day forever so it's worth choosing a photographer you are comfortable with and will record your day in the best possible way.
Here’s some great wedding photographers based in Yorkshire from places like Leeds, Bradford, York, Sheffield, Doncaster and Harrogate, whom you might want to get in touch with...
Don't forget to mention Your Yorkshire Wedding magazine when contacting wedding photographers in Yorkshire.
Over the last five years, I’ve worked up and down the country and travelled abroad to Cuba, France, Italy, Holland and Greece to photograph weddings. My main area is Yorkshire. However, I’ve been bitten by the travel bug, so I’m always up for packing a suitcase and jetting off somewhere exotic to be a part of someone’s special day.
I’m a British wedding photographer with a love for shooting weddings on Medium Format film cameras, using beautiful natural light, and capturing emotional moments. Using an approach that combines documentary with fine art styles, I love giving couples timeless, emotional, and honest images for them to treasure. I take pride in doing things differently, in striving for a new way to tell stories, of never allowing anyone to limit what we can or cannot do. I hope you do too.
I've worked in photography for 22 years since completing my BA Hons inDocumentary Photography. For the past 8 years I have had the privilege of being a full time wedding photographer; an amazing, emotional, exhilarating and very special job.
My main thought on the wedding day is to document the day as it happens, without interfering, resulting in beautiful and fun photos of you and your guests having the best day!
