A two-year project to repurpose the old lambing barn at North Yorkshire's Danby Castle is now complete with the opening of Daleview Barn. The preservation of the structure's historical value was paramount during the project; not least because between 1534 and 1543, Danby Castle was home to John Neville and Catherine Parr, who later became the 6th wife of Henry VIII. Alongside the existing dedicated ceremony room, Daleview Barn offers a masterfully designed reception room overlooking the surrounding North Yorkshire Moors. The venue boasts incredible ruins and now two barns where you can have your ceremony and three-course meal plus party afterwards.
