The Grand, York are delighted to announce it has won ‘Large Hotel of the Year’ at this year’s Visit York Tourism Awards. The prestigious Visit York Tourism Awards ceremony returned on Thursday 3rd March 2022 with the best of York’s businesses going head-to-head to win one of 15 trophies. The event shines a spotlight on excellence in York’s tourism sector and rewards outstanding service, innovation, quality and resilience.

It was also named Best Luxury Hotel in England in Late Rooms' 'Simply the Guest' awards and made Expedia's 2013 Insiders' Select List, a global ranking of the world's best hotels based on more than one million guest reviews.
