Yorkshire ranks 3rd for seaside hotspots

McCarthy Stone (www.mccarthyandstone.co.uk) surveyed 2,700 people to find which of the most popular seaside towns came out as the UK's favourite – and our very own Yorkshire coast has come third!

Blessed with ample countryside and also glorious coastline, Yorkshire not surprisingly ranks highly-voted, with Salcombe in Devon ranking at number one, Weymouth in Dorset took second place and our very own Whitby, North Yorkshire taking third!

As this picture shows, it's a fantastic destination for a pre-wedding photo shoot or a post-wedding getaway.
