Staycations with Yorkshire Hideaways

Accommodation in a clifftop lighthouse.

The rise of the staycation has been a silver lining of the pandemic – especially as Yorkshire is such an incredible location to explore. Yorkshire Hideaways has just launched as the newest county to join the Hideaways Holiday group. The sixth regional brand in the group, it places an importance on local knowledge and will be based in Leyburn. There is a gorgeous range of accommodation available, from cosy cottages, dog-friendly options, a castle, a lighthouse and even a property on the Castle Howard estate, which is furnished with items from the stately home.

"After a somewhat challenging year, we're eager to see what 2021 will hold and we're thrilled to start on a positive footing," managing director James Boyce says. "We've sourced not only an exemplary collection of properties but also an equally brilliant team who bring a wealth of unbeatable local knowledge."
