Winter is here, which means nights cuddled up on the sofa with a big mug of tea and your favourite wedding magazine (ahem!) – in other words, the perfect time to get your wedmin in order. While many people may be totally consumed by Christmas, for newlyweds-to-be the wedding planning never sleeps! So we’re here with the latest tips, tricks and expert advice to help you make your big day everything you could possibly want.
At CWM HQ we are, of course, in full-on festive mode. So expect a sprinkling of fairy dust on everything in this issue, starting with our Winter Wonderland venues feature on page 24. You’re going to love our styled shoot on page 89; full of pastel colours and metallic touches it’ll warm your cockles even on the coldest of nights.

Hackness Grange Hotel
This Grade II Georgian manor sits in 17 acres of private grounds, surrounded by woodland and splendid hillside vistas. The focal point of the gardens is the gorgeous Wedding Pavilion. Seating up to 80 guests, it sits on its own island nestled among the trees surrounded by a charming lake.
The venue comprises the main manor house, which houses bedrooms, two bars, a restaurant and function suite, as well as a courtyard block, containing additional luxury bedrooms.
Indoor ceremonies and receptions are held in the Johnstone Suite, or Johnstone Suite II, both of which offer fantastic views of the gardens. Al fresco vows are taken on Hackness Island.
A bridal suite is complimentary with all wedding bookings, and visitors staying at the hotel can enjoy the venue’s bars and restaurant.
