GOINGlocal Wed in and around Leeds and Bradford THE FAVERSHAM 0113 243 1481 | www.thefaversham.com WHAT TO EXPECT The Faversham, originally a hotel, opened its doors in 1947. The venue has recently been renovated and re-imaged to create a stylish and flexible backdrop to your wedding whilst keeping many of the original Georgian features. The venue consists of four spaces: The Conservatory, The Lounge, The Main Hall and The Terrace, combining its heritage and charm. It cleverly incorporates industrial, rustic and contemporary design elements that have been purposely created. TIME TO CELEBRATE The Conservatory boasts an original glass roof draped in hanging foliage, complemented by the authentic Victorian tiled floor and a feature living wall, it makes the perfect setting for a ceremony for up to 85 people. It houses an in-house music system and direct access to the Terrace for the perfect al fresco drinks reception. The Lounge is full of character, this space has maintained all of its original features, including high ceilings, original architrave features, and stunning floor-to-ceiling windows. Furnished with an eclectic mix of vintage and industrial furniture and oversized plants, the room is reminiscent of a ’50s drawing room and can accommodate up to 60 people for a ceremony. In the summer months, drinks reception typically take place on The Terrace and The Conservatory. In the winter months or for more intimate weddings, there’s the option to have the drinks reception in The Lounge. WE LOVE! The living wall and plentiful hanging baskets suspended from The Conservatory ceiling give the real wow factor. 21 LOCAL VENUES
