There are some important things to remember for your wedding and making sure the 'ceremony music' is on your to-do list is one of them. As guests wait for your arrival down the aisle music played will to set the ambience and tone of the proceedings. From some of the classical greats such as Pachelbel's Canon in D, to something more contemporary like Bruno Mars, making the right selection for the processional and recessional march are decisions you’ll need to make. If you’ve got the space in a traditional-style stately home why not hire a string trio/quartet? Or, for al fresco nuptial an acoustic guitarist would be perfect! Whichever you choose, why not ask your chosen entertainer if they can take your favourite song and give it a makeover for your big-day so your wedding music has a very personal touch?

Leon Marshall, musician, available for wedding bookings!
Great music is high on the hit list for any engaged couple when planning their wedding, so make sure your guests are well entertained by considering Leon Marshall to sing and play. "As a singing guitarist I provide live music from the intimacy of the ceremony, during reception drinks and your wedding breakfast, before getting the party started for the evening reception. I have a repertoire of around 300 songs ranging from rock 'n' roll through to popular songs today. I give my couples the option of choosing songs that I'll play from my list if they'd like, and if there's something that's not on the list I'll certainly have a go at learning it! My packages start from £250 for the ceremony on its own, to £1,450 for the whole day – but for the full day you'll get ceremony music, two 45 minutes sets during the drinks reception, two 45 minute sets during the wedding breakfast, four 45 minute sets during the evening, and a playlist of background music for between the sets."

Your wedding will feature as one of the most unforgettable days of your life, with everything from the vows to the venue permanently ingrained in your memory. It goes without saying, then, that perfection must be strived for. Along with the flowers, food and other festivities, the music must be chosen. What will be playing whilst your guests eat? What kind of tunes will keep the party going into the night? What track will inspire tears of joy during the first dance? These certainly aren't simple questions to answer. Jonny Ross - of Jonny Ross Music - has a wealth of experience in ensuring that happy couples are delighted with their musical decisions.
