March/April 2022

March/April 2022

It’s that feeling of optimism. The boost in our mood and energy levels that hits us every year as the season changes. Bright yellow daffodils are blooming and we can all look forward to warmer temperatures! Nisha from Your Choice Photography has shared with us a stunning local shoot photographed on a cobbled street in Yorkshire with blossom trees in bloom all around. We also have a second shoot styled by Ellen Davies from LND Events at Camblesforth Hall. With influences from the Netflix series, Bridgerton, it’s giving us all the feels!

This issue, we have a feature dedicated to jewellery and accessories! As a bit of a magpie who adores nothing more than a bit of bling, I was in heaven collating these three pages. Whether you want pops of colour, silver or vintage-inspired, we’ve got you covered! If that’s not enough our amazing Fashion Editor, Claire Ridley, has pulled out more stops with a page packed with clutches and heels to really finish off your big-day look.

I can’t gush over our real weddings enough this edition. Each so different and so amazing in equal measures. Please do enjoy being inspired by their days and if you think you’d like to see your wedding gracing our pages, then please do get in touch via our website www.youryorkshire.wedding/get-involved

Happy planning!

The Yorkshire Hotel

Found in Harrogate’s most central location, The Yorkshire Hotel boasts panoramic views across The Stray and parkland beyond. The hotel is surrounded by photo opportunities, from the stylish town centre to the traditional Valley Park Gardens. There’s also the imposing yet elegant Victorian façade of the hotel, with its grand entrance and large staircase.

Following a multi-million-pound refurbishment, The Yorkshire has unveiled its new Wedding Suite. Tastefully designed by leading interior designers, the contemporary setting offers stylish, neutral grey tones and statement lighting. The venue strikes a balance between its Victorian heritage and offering everything the modern-day couple could want.

Celebrations are held in the Sky Suite (120 ceremony guests). Found on the fifth floor, it has incredible views across the surrounding area, while its modern interiors provide a striking big-day backdrop. Receptions for up to 150 people are held in the Sky Suite, exclusive-use Sky Bar and private function suite.
